Madison Futsal is the only league in south central Wisconsin that is affiliated with US Soccer and sanctioned by United States Youth Futsal.  Madison Futsal offers the only form of indoor soccer approved by FIFA in its true and authentic form.  Madison Futsal promotes strong research & evidence based technical/skill development, high player executive functioning (ability to make the right decision under pressure) and quality development.  A Center of Excellence Program.

        Vic has managed 7 different National Futsal Teams, currently (2017) coaching the Indonesian Futsal National Team.  Vic has lead teams and guided 3 National teams to the World Cup. Vic has a wealth of experience and is also a FIFA & UEFA Futsal Instructor.

Vic conducted a coach and player education with Madison Futsal coaches and players during summer 2016.  He continues to work with Madison Futsal in the area of player technical-tactical development.

    Ilir is the Madison Futsal League & Madison Futsal Academy Director.  He brought Futsal to Madison in 2010 to allow players to have a great tool toward highest player development.  Prior to managing the Madison Futsal League, he coached at Madison LaFollette and was also the Director of Coaching for the Verona Area Soccer Club.  Ilir played Futsal & outdoor soccer in high school and college in Albania, as well as amateur division in Albania. Ilir has a strong passion for player development and soccer related research.

Enzo Fuschino – Madison Futsal Academy Head Coach

Enzo is currently the head coach for the University of Wisconsin Platteville soccer team. Since becoming the head coach in 2007, Enzo has taken the program to new heights. Prior to coaching UW-Platteville, he was the boys’ head coach at Madison LaFollette from 2001 to 2006, boys and girls program at Stoughton High School from 1996 to 1999, posting the first-ever conference wins in their history. Enzo also coaches the Madison 56ers U18 NPL premiere boys team and won the 2013 state championship. Enzo played for the Unione Sportiva Melizzano in the Amateur Italian League in 1980-85 and for A.S. Arbia from 1986-89.

Domenick currently teaches Spanish at McFarland High School where he has taught for the past 19 years.  Domenick has coached at various levels in the past 25 years; from his son’s U8 team to high school, premier, regional level and Wisconsin ODP.  Prior to joining Madison Futsal, Domenick was the head coach for the McFarland varsity boys’ and girls program.  Domenick has also held the position of Coaching Director for the Waunakee Area Soccer Club and Madison FC.  He played youth soccer in Madison and at the age of 16 he joined the men’s league. In the 80s he played in the Wisconsin Majors’ League with Madison United.

Philosophy – Your mind is what makes your body work

    David is a clinical psychologist who also brings a strong background in soccer and futsal. At UW-Madison, David is the Clinical and Sports Psychologist for the Athletic Department, where he helps Badger student-athletes to excel in their academic and athletic development. David was an Illinois High School All-State soccer player and he lettered for four years while playing at Carleton College. David has also coached recreational youth soccer for the past four years in Madison. David enjoys helping players to become “mental athletes” as a way to achieve excellence in sports. David will be involved with Madison Futsal Academy Players, Madison Futsal Regional teams and other Madison Futsal Programs. He will be providing these athletes with some great tools toward the path of futsal/soccer excellence.

    Alyssa is Madison Futsal League’s technical director of referees. She has been a USSF referee for 10 years, and she also actively mentors young referees in the Madison area as a part of the Madison Area Soccer Referee Unit. Alyssa played competitive soccer in southeastern Wisconsin through high school until engineering studies took over her life, although she continues to play for competitive enjoyment.

    Originally from Sri Lanka, Ananda played soccer in high school, college and the amateur divisions.  He came to USA in 1976 and played soccer for four years with Madison Eagles in the Capital Division.  Ananda holds multiple licenses with United States Soccer Federation as a referee, instructor, assessor, and assigner.  As a H.S. licensed master level referee with WIAA, has officiated at the WIAA high school girl’s and boy’s tournaments.  Ananda is well respected in the soccer community and will always work with other Madison Futsal League referees to maintain highest standards.

 Hayato Ikeda

Hayato is very interested in sports performance and sports medicine, and is currently a sophomore at UW-Madison studying to pursue a degree in Athletic Training.  Hayato played high school soccer for Madison Memorial. He also participated in several Madison Futsal Academy sessions and the 5v5 league for several years, while in high school.  Hayato is very passionate about soccer and is always looking for opportunities to play or watch the game.

Kevin is currently a first year student at UW-Madison studying to pursue a career in engineering. Kevin played soccer for Verona during High School, and still holds a strong passion for the sport.  Throughout high school, Kevin also played futsal and has helped assistant coach for Madison Futsal academy trainings. With the love of playing and watching, Kevin enjoys the opportunity to be able to be around such a great game.

Megan Hornby

Megan has a strong passion for sports and recreation, in both participation and management aspects.  She has grown up playing soccer, amongst other sports, and enjoys being able to help the organization continue to provide such great experience for youth and adults.  Megan is always looking for opportunities to continue to improve and fulfill the motto of providing a program of true excellence for all individuals who are a part of the Madison Futsal family.
