Key Rules Take Away Summary (Start At Age U11)
- Pass Back: only 2 pass back to GK per possession (reset when not in possession)
- 4 Seconds: on every restart
- 5th Foul: upon 5th foul and all fouls after, kick second penalty mark. Resets at halftime.
- Shot Clock: 8 seconds begins whenever ball is played into attacking half from behind imaginary line extending from top of penalty area
- The Magic Rule: In the last 5 minutes of each half both teams are restricted to maximum 2 touch play.
- Kick in From Own Half: team has to play using maximum 2 touch play until the ball crosses into attacking half.
- Yellow Card
- Cautioned player is out for 2 min and new player in
- For all yellow cards team that is fouled has two options:

- For all yellow cards team that is fouled has two options:
- Can take free kick from wherever the offense occurred

- Red Card
- If sent off for violent conduct or offensive/abusive language/gestures the player must leave the field entirely and be out of sight/sound. They are not allowed to remain on bench or sit with spectators (player returns to car).
- If sent off for any other reason (example: DOGSO, 2nd caution) the player may remain on bench IF the player acts in a responsible/respectful manner and does not interfere with play in any way for the remainder of the match. Player shall be removed from the bench area if they become disruptive or offensive in any way.
- If severe behavioral issues or violent conduct incident is reviewed by league leaders with referee input for further suspension.
- Accumulated Fouls
- Beginning at the 5th foul and all fouls after – Kick from second penalty mark. Still resets at halftime.
- Permissible Contact
- “MODERATE” (more than Futsal, less than outdoors)
- Rationale: Fasbol is a game which emphasizes speed and technical skill, so less physical play will be allowed than traditional outdoor football/soccer and should be limited only to directly challenging for the ball. However, Fasbol is not played on a hard surface like Futsal, so physical contact should be less likely to be judged as dangerous.
- Emphasis: Some contact is allowed, but must consider is it SAFE and is it FAIR

- Shot Clock
- 8 seconds begins whenever ball is played into attacking half from behind imaginary line extending from top of penalty area
- The referee will display a visual count of the 8 seconds with arm overhead similar to 4 seconds for restarts
- If a team fails to take a shot towards goal within the 8 seconds play is restarted with an indirect free kick at the point of possession where play was stopped by the referee

- After kick in FROM OWN HALF team has to play using maximum 2 touches from each player until the ball crosses into attacking half
- If a player takes more than 2 touches, play is restarted with an indirect free kick for the opposing team at last point of possession
- If at any point possession is lost to the other team, play continues without any restrictions
- After crossing half, team may resume normal unrestricted play

- Indirect free kick if player is guilty of 3rd touch
- Yellow Card Restarts
- For all yellow cards team that is fouled has two options:
- Can take free kick from wherever the offense occurred
- Can take 3v2 transition free kick from midline
- One attacker begins with ball 5m in front of midline
- Two other attackers and two defenders must begin 5m from ball until ball is touched and moved
- All other players must remain behind midline until ball is touched
- Goalkeeper must remain within penalty area until ball is touched
- If any players encroaches before the ball is touched and moved, the kick is retaken
- Once ball is touched all other players on the field may engage in play again
